Wall Lounge Miami:It’s not too often that an event comes across our desks where the artist has had numerous #1 tracks on Beatport, TrackItDown and The Buzz Chart, yet we haven’t heard of him – which makes us even more excited to learn about the UK native known as Lazy Rich. Now living in Canada, Lazy Rich thrives in the electro-house genre and has even been dubbed a pioneer in what’s being called ‘complextro’ (yes another term we’ve never heard of) – a style that takes qualities from dubstep and electro house with 140+ bpm.
Much to our surprise, Lazy Rich isn’t “new” to the scene – he’s actually been around for over a decade but recently changed gears and has put more focus into the blossoming U.S. market – so that’s our excuse for not knowing who he was, even if it doesn’t hold up. He has even had his own podcast/radio show since January of 2010 titled The Lazy Rich Show, which airs roughly the same date every month and can even be downloaded directly from his website. Lazy Rich, who is anything but, even has remix work for Lady Gaga, Chris Lake, Deadmau5, Zedd and Porter Robinson under his belt!
Currently on a tour that, for the most part, will keep him up in Canada, Lazy Rich has made it so that he will be visiting his neighbor to the South 3 times during his tour – and as the title says, he’s making an appearance at Wall Lounge Miami on Saturday, April 26th! Located at 22nd and Collins in Miami Beach inside the W South Beach, Wall Lounge Miami is a unique destination in and of itself – a 4,000 sq ft lounge dedicated to making everyone feel like an elite VIP client.
