There’s one simple phrase that sums up Ribfest 2013 Miami: Good ol’ fashioned lip smackin’ BBQ. Hard to believe that it’s already been a year since we last wrote about Ribfest, but it’s back! Ribfest 2013 Miami is once again taking place at Zoo Miami from Friday, November 1st to Sunday, November 3rd. Ribfest 2013 Miami is about so much more than just BBQ, although we love that part. The entire weekend pays homage to BBQ and is 100% kid friendly.
Concerts are held throughout Ribfest 2013 Miami and are broken up into styles. Opening day there will be a DJ taking care of the music. Day 2 is a Rock and Southern Rock day with Havoc 305, Mojo Scoundrels, The Click, The Vibe and Fire Brigade. The final day is Country day with Burnt Biscuit Band, Gypsyroad, Payback and The Rodeo Clowns. Music aside, there will also be arts & crafts, hay rides and face painting for the kids to enjoy. And if that isn’t enough, certain ticket options get you inclusive admission to Zoo Miami!
For the adults there will be cooking demonstrations throughout Ribfest 2013 Miami and even a farmers market so you can get all the ingredients you need to give that new dish you just learned a try! Petersen’s Harley Davidson of Miami will also be there giving demonstrations of their Jumpstart program that demonstrates the feel of riding a motorcycle. Topping it all off? A motorcycle rally! Ribfest 2013 Miami also boasts BBQ teams from all over the U.S. competing for Best Ribs, Best Beef Brisket, Best Pork, Best Chicken, and Best Sauce.
