Fusion Fashion Show and Art Week September 20th - 22nd

2013 has had some unique ‘firsts’ – from the first Pope being elected from the Southern Hemisphere all the way to the royal birth of Prince George of Cambridge. But 2013 also holds a special first for Fusion Fashion Show and Art Week as well – It’s their first show! Fusion Fashion Show and Art Week, or FFAW, is taking place Thursday, September 19th through Sunday, September 22nd at The Light Factory Studios & Gallery in West Palm Beach [CLICK HERE for a map]. However FFAW is clear to show they are much more than your typical fashion show. Utilizing a no-closed door policy, FFAW will be showcasing local fashion designers as well as local visual artists meanwhile being sprinkled with local celebrities from hit shows such as The Glades, Burn Notice and Cartoon Network.

Notable designers that will be showcasing their designs are Miss Poindexter and her re-designed vintage clothing, Rosetta Marrett’s accessories and haute couture, Desiree Marie’s feminine and vintage inspired clothing, Rosaura Sias Pipenburg’s contemporary elegant and sexy dresses, Baron Siamanto’s women’s haute couture and The Local Miami’s very own Candy Woolley will also be showcasing her exotic and imaginative, yet accessible and ready to wear line of hand made luxury accessories and handbags. Collectively, all of the designers have red carpet experience from shows in the U.S. all the way to the runways of Paris. Award winning graphic designer and Ft. Lauderdale resident Dannielle Kukar will also be there showcasing her Feather Heart Designs line that is for both humans and their pets.

A $50,000 Roberto Calvalli couture fashion exhibit will also be on display as well as art by the legendary Salvador Dali.

Owned and operated by husband and wife duo Lilyana and Jim Eisele, Fusion Fashion and Art INC, FFAW’s parent company, has one main goal: to let people enjoy and be inspired by all forms of art – quite possibly why this September’s FFAW is partnered with Viva 500 Florida, a statewide initiative led by the Florida Department of State highlighting the 500 years of historic people, places and events in present-day Florida since the arrival of Juan Ponce de Leon.

Fusion Fashion and Art Week kicks off on Thursday, September 19th at BB Kings (right next to Tequila Cowboy) with a Red Carpet Reception where those attending the fashion shows can quite simply, meet and greet one another. Then Friday the 20th through Sunday the 22nd the fashion shows will commence. Please [CLICK HERE] for the official schedule of FFAW as well as the times of the fashion shows.
