As the Downtown Miami and Brickell Chamber of Commerce website says, “It is the mission of the Downtown Miami & Brickell Chamber of Commerce™ (DMBCC) to serve as the VOICE, BRIDGE and PLATFORM for Downtown Miami & Brickell businesses, entrepreneurs and the community as a whole. The Chamber is responsible for a hole host of committee’s, including Hospitality, Banking & Finance, Trade & Tourism, Small Business and Real Estate & Construction just to name a few. In layman’s terms, they’re responsible for a whole host of things that keep our city running smoothly.
But one of the things they do that most people don’t realize, is putting together social and networking events in the area – including one on Wednesday, August 14th at the Exhale Mind Body Spa inside the Epic Hotel & Residences. This ladies networker takes place from 6:30pm to 9pm and is meant to bring local women together as the Brickell Chamber of Commerce is preparing to launch a women’s business initiative in September. Ladies attending this networker will be treated with light bites and hors d’oeuvres provided by Green Bites Miami as well as drinks and cocktails sponsored by Ron Barcelo, La Cacciatora and Top Wines Imports.
The event also boasts a raffle where Exhale Spa will be raffling off gift certificates for their wellness and fitness classes. The chamber will also be raffling off some chamber memberships as well as some business consulting services. Every attendee gets one complimentary raffle ticket, but additional tickets are available for $10 to anyone wanting to increase their chances of winning. Ladies can even break away from the networker for a quick spa treatment at Exhale if their hearts desire (at your expense of course).
