Saturday, June 22nd Newport Beachside Hotel & Resort hosts one of Miami’s most iconic nightlife figures, Gerry Kelly, as he celebrates his birthday with 1,000 of his closest friends starting at 10pm. Kelly, most notably known for his involvement in the South Beach mega-club LEVEL, which undoubtedly ushered in the era of mega-clubs in Miami, is known for throwing extravagant and lavish parties that include celebrities, recording artists and Miami’s elite. To uphold his high standards for nightlife, renowned set designers 3DX have been commissioned to transform Newport’s lobby and Kitchen 305 into a palatial setting with DJ RetroKidd playing open format in the grand lobby and DJ LaTrice spinning in Kitchen 305. As soon as you walk in grab a cocktail from Casa Amigos Tequila and some mouth watering hors d’oeuvres while you’re wowed by Hot Jam Entertainments own choreographer Pamela Cannellas and her performers that are bound to keep you entertained all night with their stage shows. JB Couture Designs will also be there showcasing some of their newest designs just in time for summer. Then there’s the cake! To commemorate Gerry Kelly’s birthday and his contributions to the city of Miami Unique Designer’s Cake will present what we can only imagine will be an out of this world edible piece of art. Don’t miss out on your opportunity to party with Miami nightlife royalty!
