2012 is behind us and 2013 is in front of us. December has come and gone. But does that mean the season of giving just stops? Absolutely not! So why not continue the Holiday spirit and keep on giving? Thursday, January 17th at Allied Kitchen & Bath in Ft. Lauderdale there will be a charity fashion show that benefits the Starlight Children’s Foundation. Now some of you may remember the Starlight Children’s Foundation 10th Annual Golf Tournament we covered back in October of 2012(click HERE for the article), some of you may not – but nonetheless it was a HUGE success for them and they raised a significant amount of money to help thousands more children, as well as their families, suffering from serious illnesses.

Allied Kitchen & Bath is no stranger to the Starlight Children’s Foundation – they have loaned their beautiful building to the foundation for other charity events they have held in the past – a huge generosity on their behalf. The building is perfect for a fashion event with it’s large quantity of vignette spaces in it’s show room that are perfect for the many vendors and popup boutiques that will be in attendance. Some of the designers and vendors participating in the popups are Dress 2 Kill Boutique, LaLa Couture, Style & Candy Boutique and Karess Swimwear. And hey, Summer IS just around the corner ladies! You can never plan TOO early!

After you hit the red carpet on your entry and grab your champagne that Korbel was so nice to sponsor, you can hit the many popup boutiques and various other popup shops before the show begins at 7:30. Starlight has gotten rid of the traditional runway you’re used to seeing at fashion shows and instead the models from Posche Modeling Agency will be utilizing the beautiful staircase in the center of the Allied showroom. While you’re enjoying the popup boutiques and socializing you’re ears will be accompanied by the sultry sounds of the DJ who will also be DJ’ing the fashion show.

Light food and hors d’oevres as well as wine and spirits will be available during the duration of the event. A silent auction will take place during the event that includes one item from every participating popup and has some higher ticket items like a gown and top from designer Tricia Fix, a collection of jewelry from Style Mined and even a weekend stay at the Diplomat Hotel in Hollywood!

Tickets are limited so if you’re ready for a night of fashion that’s going to help a great charity continue to do what they’re doing, CLICK HERE and you’ll be whisked off to get your tickets. It’s a new year Miami; let’s start it the right way.
