Dark blood red in color that has rich plum and blackberry notes on the nose. Slight sweetness on the palate (from the wonderful strawberry notes.)
Velvety smooth and light with well rounded tannins that let you know they’re there, but without being overpowering, which makes it a great red to drink by itself. There is also noticeable ripe cherry and blackberry that lingers on the palate. The finish is silky smooth with nice oak and vanilla flavors. Overall well balanced wine that would pair well with pork, light pasta dishes and grilled fish (or it can be enjoyed all by itself)
