Miami Music Week 2015: Steve Aoki’s record label, Dim Mak, which he founded back in 1996 has grown into a power house label in the music industry. With over 70 former and 30+ current DJ’s/acts on the label (which includes John Dahlbäck, The Chainsmokers, Autoerotique, Borgore & Zeds Dead) it shows that Aoki takes not only his music seriously, but takes finding new talent just as, if not more, serious.
So when the head of Dim Mak says he’s bringing friends to one of Miami’s most notorious venues, LIV Nightclub, on Tuesday, March 24th for an official Miami Music Week 2015 event, let your imagination run wild with who he constitutes as his “friends”. If you’re not big on surprises then you’re in luck because he’s already announced who will be joining him: Nervo, Deorro, Ummet Ozcan, Bassjackers, Autoerotique, Uberjak’d, Marnik & Reid Stefan.
