Calvin Harris at STORY Miami November 14th

STORY Miami: Calvin Harris is one of the few names in the electronic dance music world that literally transcends all genre barriers. Ironically Harris, who’s real name is Adam Wiles, is (to the best of our knowledge) the only professional DJ of his caliber that is of Scottish decent. After kicking off his rise to the top in 2007 with the release of his debut album I Created Disco, which included two of his first hit singles Acceptable in the 80’s and The Girls Harris wasted no time, releasing Ready For the Weekend shortly thereafter in 2009.

Calvin Harris also have the distinguished privilege of saying he surpassed the great Michael Jackson (different genre, we know) for number of Top Ten hits on the UK Singles Chart, topping out at 9. But just like other greats before him, Calvin Harris thrived for greatness. In both 2013 and 2014 Calvin Harris was dubbed “World’s Highest Paid DJ” by Forbes Magazine, topping out at a whopping $66 million this year. Now excuse us while we imagine what $66 million looks like. More recently, however, Harris had to renege on the MTV European Music Awards (which took place tonight 11/9/14) as he reportedly had some sort of sickness or heart issue he was getting checked out.

With the launch of his latest album “Motion”, Calvin Harris is hitting the tour circuit hard and will be at STORY Miami Friday, November 14th along with DJ Dave Sol and This Is Burns. This should come as no surprise to any Calvin Harris fans, but this event is sure to sell out. Tickets are $60 for the ladies and $90 for the gentlemen and can be purchased by CLICKING HERE. For VIP information please contact STORY Miami VIP host David Gordon at 561-239-1200. A dress code will be enforced at this 21+ event, so dress accordingly. Doors open at 11pm.
