Labor Day Weekend 2014 Miami – Fedde Le Grand at Club Space August 30th
Labor Day Weekend 2014 Miami: For the last decade the dance music world has been graced by Fedde le Grand, a (now) 36 year old DJ hailing from The Netherlands (surprise, surprise). However it wasn’t until his 2006 single “Put Your Hands Up 4 Detroit” until he started gaining big time notoriety. The track topped charts all over Europe and paved the way for Fedde’s entrance to DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJ’s, which he debuted at the #22 spot in 2007.
After releasing a numerous hits, Fedde ultimately co-founded Flamingo Recordings, which now is the home to Funkerman as well as producer Raf Jansen. But unlike many DJ’s, Fedde isn’t concerned only with himself – he actually takes it upon himself to find the newest generation of DJ’s and producers and leverages his notoriety and connections to bring them to the center stage for everyone to see. Roul and Doors, dBerrie, Mark & Kremont and John Dish all owe more than a little thanks to Fedde for his help in getting their careers going.
