Mansion Miami Beach: More often than not the DJ’s that tend to grace the pages of The Local Miami are Dutch with maybe a few French and Swedish DJ’s sprinkled here and there. But the overwhelming majority hail from The Netherlands. And for us, it’s always exciting to see new talent emerge elsewhere, especially when they come from right here in the U.S. of A.

In comes Nate Rathbun, a young DJ and producer from Mystic, Connecticut (yes you read that correctly…there’s actually a town called ‘Mystic’). Having really only been active since 2008, Nate, who goes by the stage name Audien, knew he had a long, demanding road ahead of him. But did that scare him? Possibly (and probably). But more importantly, did that deter him? Hell no. The young teen started sending out his music to producers, record labels and anyone else he thought might like his music that had influential power.

A few years later Audien already had remixes and original tracks under the Armada, Spinnin’ and Anjunabeats record labels’ banners. Not only that, in 2011 Audien actually opened up for his idol Armin Van Buuren at the Roseland in New York. It’s actually hard to picture anyone have that much success in just three short years. And when you factor in how young he is, it makes it that much more impressive.

Having already played at mega-clubs in Vegas, Los Angeles, New York and San Francisco, Audien plans to pull a Lebron James and take his talents to South Beach…if only for a night. On Saturday, July 12th Audien will be at Mansion Miami Beach along with Laurent Simeca. With your wallet always in mind, Mansion Miami has general admission tickets for just $30, which can be purchased by CLICKING HERE. If VIP is more your style, contact Mansion Miami Beach VIP host Cody “Q” Quaife at 786-543-7626 and tell him we sent you. This event is for those 21+ and there will be a dress code enforced, so dress accordingly. Doors open at 11pm.
