Miami Music Week 2014 Events: Having recently released his latest collaboration with Project 46 and Collin Mcloughlin at the end of January titled Collide, Laidback Luke has been a busy man so far in 2014. But of course we wouldn’t expect anything less from one of the best DJ’s in the world. Currently on his Super You&Me tour that will be taking him to Spain, the U.K., Italy and Canada, Laidback Luke is getting revved up for an extremely busy end of March where he will be taking control of the main stage on the opening night of this years Ultra Music Festival – but not before he decimates STORY Miami on Wednesday, March 26th with DJ Snake, Blasterjaxx and The Chainsmokers!
So what the hell is Super You&Me? As the official Facebook says “Laidback Luke’s Super You&Me parties are all about saving civilization from mediocrity through music and pioneering ‘YOUnique’ merrymaking mayhem around the globe.” Still not sure what it is? Let us help you out; in layman’s terms, dress as a superhero, crime fighter or any other bizarre-o costume you have laying around in your closet. You know, like the one you throw on in your condo when you think no one is watching and you run around and “fight crime”. That one will work just fine. By the way, your neighbors on the floor below you have requested you stop. Immediately.
But don’t worry! It’s not like you won’t ever get to wear it again! Super You&Me is all about the music and having fun while dressed up in costumes. Is there a rule that says you can only dress up in costume on Halloween? Even if there is, we don’t give a damn. Because when Laidback Luke says to dress up in a costume, that’s exactly what we do!
