Miami New Years Eve 2014:From being nominated at the American Music Awards this passed weekend for Favorite Rap/Hip-Hop Artist to having a brush with death earlier this year (which talk show host Jimmy Kimmel gave us THIS late night TV gem), 2013 has been a hell of a year for Young Money Entertainment CEO Lil’ Wayne. Hard to believe Mr. Carter, who recently turned 31 in September, has been in the music industry since 1991 when he was just 9 years old. Don’t stress on the math. That means those of you who are reading this were probably the same age, or older, listening to the 16 year old Lil’ Wayne rap on the Hot Boys tracks I Need a Hot Girl and We On Fire. But I think most are in agreement, the older Wayne has gotten, the better his music has become – more variety, extending himself into other genres (however we could’ve done without his debut rock album Rebirth). With the latest tracks he’s been on, including Rich As F**k with 2 Chainz, Love Me with Drake and No Worries all being monumental hits, we’re anxious to see what the next few years has in store for Lil’ Wayne.
But we do know that in the very near future Lil’ Wayne will be the special host for Miami New Years Eve 2014 at Cameo Miami! Rapper Lil’ Wayne is the only scheduled celebrity that’s going to be there, but we have a feeling he’ll be bringing a few of his YMCMB label-mates (but don’t be mad at us if that doesn’t happen). Cameo Miami will have an open bar from 9pm to midnight with a complimentary midnight champagne toast to ring in Miami New Years Eve 2014 the right way. General admission tickets for the gentlemen start at $150 and $50 for the ladies. And there is no shortage of VIP options at Cameo for Miami New Years Eve 2014 starting with the Mezzanine table for up to 4 people that includes 1 bottle of vodka and 1 bottle of rosè champagne for $1,000 and going all the way to Cameo’s In The Studio VIP package that includes a meet and greet with Lil Wayne at his studio, 10 bottles of vodka, 50 bottles of rosè champagne, 5 bottles of Hennessy VS and 10 bottles of Patrón for a cool $100,000. But hey, can you really put a price on a meet and greet with Mr. Carter himself with some of your friends? We didn’t think so.
