Now a resident of beautiful Miami, FL, DJ David Solano was originally born on Bogota, Colombia. Bogota, notorious for it’s connection to Pablo Escobar is still, as of 2011, the worlds largest producer of cocaine. With that amount of narcotics and money being thrown around in Bogota, it’s a miracle in and of itself that David Solano didn’t get caught up in the drug trade and made it out of Colombia. But we’re thankful he did because he’s given the electronic music genre some great tracks, such as Do It, LOKO and a whole slew of remixes. David Solano has had some recent new releases as well, most recently Who we Are with Angelika Vee (listen to it here). He’s also done a lot of work with Spinnin Records, Nervous Records and Black Hole Recordings and even has his own podcast on Itunes. David Solano also landed a pretty bad ass gig as being the official DJ for the Life In Color events (formerly known as Dayglow) which is the worlds largest paint party.
While there won’t be any paint being thrown around at Mansion Miami on November 16th when David Solano comes in to tear it up, it’s going to be one hell of show for the Miami resident (plus paint doesn’t go well with my suits, so yea). We expect to hear Solano drop some of his newest tracks at The Opium Group run Mansion Miami as well as quite a few of his remixes. Located in South Beach, Mansion Miami has set the price for tickets insanely low, with general admission tickets only costing $20! This is a 21+ event and Mansion Miami does enforce a dress code. For VIP information please call 305-695-8411. The doors open at 11pm and the party goes until 5am, so rest well! Others play house, we play Mansion!
