Southern California, much like right here in Miami, is known for BASS. Miami was most notably known for the 80’s and 90’s Hip-Hop sub genre ‘Miami Bass’ while SoCal is well known for it’s bass-heavy house music and raves. Different – but united by bass. Southern California native Kennedy Jones was bit by the music (and bass) bug at a young age – starting off recently with collaborations released on Ultra Records which ultimately led Jones to a desire to take on a solo project. That’s when the ‘Kennedy Jones’ project was born – his own unique mix of trapstyle bass and Top 40 tracks and has even featured a little Spanish & Latin flair with his remix of Elvis Crespo’s hit “Suavamente”. BUT, this event doesn’t give you just one badass DJ – it’s giving you FOUR! Accompanying Jones will be CRNKN, a 20 year Los Angeles DJ that incorporates a very melodic sound into many of his tracks as well as Clips x Ahoy and resident Space DJ Radamas. Having been on tour since the beginning of June, Kennedy Jones is winding down his last 3 tour stops and fortunately for you, one of those stops is right here in Miami.
As part of their BASE at Space house/trap/dubstep series held in the Basement of Club Space, Red Rabbit Presents is bringing Kennedy Jones and CRNKN to the Magic City on Saturday, July 27th. The doors open at 10pm and those on the Red Rabbit guest list get in free until 12:30 am. VIP tables also start at a low $80 per person and those reservations can be made by e-mailing Christy@RedRabbitPresents.com. [CLICK HERE] to purchase your tickets.
