On Friday, April 26th from 7pm – 9pm The Hangar Gallery in Wynwood will be host to local Miami photographer Anthony Jordan Jr’s latest photography exhibition, “Living & Loving 2: A Continued Celebration of Life,” a follow up to his “Living & Loving: Celebrating our Comfort” series. But this isn’t any ordinary art showing – a portion of the proceeds from the sale of art will be donated to Care Resources, a local healthcare resource that takes special interest in the LGBTQ community, to help fund their efforts and research of HIV/AIDS. Additionally, The Hangar Gallery has also stepped up and has offered to donate 10% of any purchases made on the evening of the exhibition.
Anthony Jordan Jr is a prime example of a great photographer that wasn’t classically trained. He is a self taught photographer that has let his passion for telling a story through his lens guide him. He specializes in portraits, engagement and wedding photography as well as event photography.
