Breast cancer is the 2nd most common form of cancer in women, behind skin cancer. It is estimated that 1 in 8 women will have invasive breast cancer at some point in their life – 1 in 36 women will die from it. These statistics are startling, but ironically, these statistics are actually good. The death rate of breast cancer has been steadily going down over the years and we here at The Good Life Miami are determined to be a positive force in the eradication of breast cancer FOREVER. National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, along with dozens of others charities and foundations, have been a staple in the fight against breast cancer for decades; encouraging people as a whole to come together, put on their pink ribbons, wear pink accessories and join the fight against breast cancer!
That’s what CE Magnifique Productions have created with “Girls Night Out: All Dolled Up.” The event has tons to offer, but it all comes back to benefiting breast cancer awareness. On Thursday, October 18th at The Wine Vault in Midtown Miami, “Girls Night Out: All Dolled Up” will be providing attendees with an abundance of fun from 6pm to 10pm. Blo Blow Dry Bar will have their braid bar setup to provide complimentary braids for ladies in attendance (to see what these stylists are capable of, click HERE!
Since this is a breast cancer awareness charity event, you will also have the option to have a pink ribbon incorporated into your braid so you can show off your support to everyone! The Cupcake Burlesque girls will be there, putting on one of their wonderful shows in support of breast cancer awareness and vintage pop up shops L.A. Bourdoir and Beverlee Kagan will be there with their timeless vintage fashions for the “old fashioned” fashionistas.
As an extra bonus, the first 150 guests will receive a fabulous “Swag Bag” that is filled with goodies from vendors at the charity event! You never know what could be in it, so get there early!
