It is estimated that 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with some form of breast cancer in their lifetime, which means chances are YOU will have a family member, loved one or close friend that is diagnosed. As dark as that may seem, there is some good news; breast cancer death rates are going down, which can be contributed to finding the cancer earlier and finding the best treatment options available. And who do we all know is synonymous with the fight against breast cancer? The Susan G. Komen Foundation.

LMNT has teamed up with the Susan G Komen foundation to bring you the Pink Party, a party celebrating life, on Saturday July 14th at 9pm. Now this even has a bit of everything: Drinks, food, music, art and, last but not least, a Blo Dry Bar! Puerto Viejo Wines is sponsoring the wines and cocktails available for the event while you taste the eclectic international catering spread that LMNT is putting together. Then you can move over to the dessert section, where Stella’s Sweet Shoppe will have all sorts of sweet and tangy indulgences for you to enjoy.

Internationally renowned fashion designer Luis Valenzuela of Eco Art Fashion will be doing an art installation/center piece in collaboration with floral designer Dan Paul Miller with flowers donated by Nature’s Flowers. There will also be a special exhibit featuring PINK artwork, some personal pieces by breast cancer survivors and LMNT will be opening their latest exhibit, Alive. Music is being taken care of by DJ Stanly Prato and DJ Reginald Leger. And the icing on the cake? Blo Brickell will have their Blo Girls there to indulge you by giving you your own fabulous ‘blo hair on the go!’ So come out and show your support for the Susan G Komen foundation, breast cancer survivors, both past, present and future!
