This blend of 90% tempranillo and 10% graciano y mazuelo hailing from Spain is quite a treat. On the verge of becoming that rich brick red color, this intensely dark ruby red wine delivers. As it enters your mouth this medium-full bodied smooth and supple wine gives you nice balsamic notes accompanied by some noticeable pepper & spice. Going down, there’s a slight bitterness that definitely ‘wakes up’ your mouth. The finish is smooth, with the balsamic notes fading, making way for the peppery finish. Pairs well with spicy dishes, heavy meats and pastas.
