Laidback Luke at LIV Miami May 16th

     LIV Miami: For some of the older generations of electronic dance music it may be hard to believe that two decades ago Laidback Luke made his debut. Now while some of you are undoubtedly double checking the math on that, it should come as no surprise that Laidback Luke’s style, persona & aura has left an irreplaceable mark on the dance music scene.

The 38 year old graffiti artist turned DJ had a rather cultural upbringing being born in the Philippines and growing up in Holland. But music isn’t the only thing this Filipino Dutchman has a passion for – according to his Wikipedia page he is an avid follower and practitioner of a specific type of Kung Fu called Choy Li Fut and was even in the 2013 World Championship held in China with his team Team Kung Fu Holland! Talk about having a diversified skill set.

Currently on a world-wide tour that will have taken him to Germany, Italy, Canada, Greece and Hong Kong by the time it’s over, you can find Laidback Luke at LIV Miami on Saturday, May 16th.
