Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano at LIV Miami February 19th

     LIV Nightclub Miami: Sunnery James and Ryan Marciano, the Dutch duo who have taken the music industry by storm, have quite possibly graced the pages of The Local Miami more so than any other DJ and/or duo have which, if you ask us, shows how hard these guys work and how they clearly love coming to Miami. But hey, you won’t hear us complaining about them coming to our wonderful city because that means we get to see them!

We’ve written about it quite extensively, but if you don’t know the story of how Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano became Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano, it’s quite the story. What does a clothing store have in common with house music? Nothing. But that’s where the two met. Just goes to show you that even a casual run in with someone (or something) could evolve into something more substantial than you you could have ever imagined. They’ve received praise from many of musics top DJ’s and producers and even Axwell has said “If there were a Dutch version of Swedish House Mafia, it would be Sunnery James and Ryan Marciano.” I don’t care who you are, receiving a compliment like that from a former Swedish House Mafia member is a huge honor. However, it suits Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano well.

Just within the last year or so Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano have played at the Ministry of Sound, have headlined at Ultra Music Festivals in Buenos Aires, Miami, and Chile while also squeezing some time in to head to EDC in Las Vegas and New York. And that’s still not all of the major music festivals they played at.

Call us selfish, but we really only care about when they come to Miami. With a few official tour stops scheduled for the month of February, we were delighted to see “Miami” on the list along with Las Vegas and New York. With that said, catch Sunnery James and Ryan Marciano at LIV Miami on Thursday, February 19th! STORY Miami’s resident DJ, Dave Sol, will also be in the building alongside the Dutch powerhouse duo.
