DJ Irie at Mansion Miami January 3rd

     Mansion Miami: Miami is known for quite a few things: Beautiful beaches, world famous nightlife, the Miami Dolphins, Calle Ocho, exotic cars and of course, the World Champion Miami Heat. Aside from the players, coaching staff, cheerleaders, dancers, medical staff and mascot, there lies a man who goes by the name DJ Irie. Irie is the Miami Heat’s official DJ. That’s right – whenever you’re at a home game for the Heat, he’s the one on the turntables keeping the energy up in the AA Arena.

Despite the “DJ” part in DJ Irie, he’s much more than a DJ. He’s a bona fide celebrity. Maybe not in terms of Beyonce, but he absolutely is a celebrity in his own right. As a matter of fact, Irie was the first sports team DJ (which happened in 1999) with his partnership with the Miami heat. Irie is more of a convener – literally. His endeavors have brought many brands together that may otherwise have not. Who has Irie worked with? Brands including Grey Goose, Cadillac, Carnival Cruise Lines, Target and Premier Beverage Company. He’s all about growing his brand, and he does it extremely well. It’s safe to say that DJ Irie isn’t just a DJ – he’s a legitimate businessman who just happens to DJ on the side.

On Saturday, January 3rd DJ Irie will be at the Opium Group run Mansion Miami. Even if you’re a Miami Heat season ticket holder & catch Irie at the Heat games, we promise you you’ll be in for a big surprise when you catch Irie performing outside of the AA Arena.
