3rd Annual Delray Beach Wine & Seafood Festival
2014 Delray Beach Wine & Seafood Festival: Delray Beach, located just 50 miles north of Miami, will host their 3rd Annual Delray Beach Wine and Seafood Festival on Saturday, November 8th and Sunday, November 8th in downtown Delray Beach. With festivals of this type becoming more and more popular as winos and food lovers alike look for a way to explore what their own backyards offer in terms of food and cocktails, this years Wine and Seafood Festival is slated to be the best one yet.
Now in its 3rd year thanks to the folks over at the Delray Beach Chamber of Commerce, the Delray Beach Wine and Seafood Festival commandeers international brands to mingle with local restaurants and businesses, making way for a unique experience in the heart of beautiful downtown Delray Beach.
This years Wine and Seafood Festival boasts over 60 sponsors ranging from our friends over at Smoke Inn Cigars Delray and Whole Foods to Silver Oak Cellars and Concha y Toro. Aside from Silver Oak Cellars and Concha y Toro there are over a dozen other beverage sponsors for this event, so rest assured the wine and beverages will be constantly flowing. But don’t worry beer lovers, Heineken will also be in the building in their Heineken Light Lounge which will be located near the main stage so you can grab a cold one, kick back, relax and enjoy some good music.
Now we know not everyone is into wine (you’re missing out though), but everyone has to eat! And with just under 20 food vendors expected to be in attendance, there will be no shortage of food either. Catering Concept & Conceptions, Caffe Luna Rosa, Nick’s Crab Shack and even Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse will have samples ranging from spicy lobster poboy and crab cake sandwiches to seafood platters, jambalaya, crawfish and, of course, shrimp.
Keeping in line with most other large scale food and wine festivals, the 2014 Delray beach Wine and Seafood Festival will also have 9 seminars ranging from wine tastings from California’s Napa and Sonoma Valleys to food and wine pairings and even a champagne tasting! (Unfortunately all seminars are sold out on Saturday, but Sunday’s seminars are still open!) To round off the festival there will be 2 stages where artists will be performing on both days of the event.
This is a FREE event to attend. The festival is open 11am – 10pm on Saturday and 11am – 7pm on Sunday. For information on where to park, CLICK HERE. For directions please see the map below. For general information about this event please visit their official website.
