Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano at LIV Miami August 16th
LIV Miami: A particular Facebook biography starts off with “People always ask if there is something in the water in Holland that makes this tiny country churn out so many prolific and successful DJs and producers.” Which, ironically, is a question we ask ourselves here at The Local Miami quite often. That insightful, and rather interesting sentence belongs to the Facebook page of none other than Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano. What’s so lovable about these guys isn’t just their dashing good looks – ladies practically drool when they see them perform (get a grip ladies) – but it’s their story, one we’ve gone over quite a few times in past articles on Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano.
The two met at a clothing store where they both worked back in 2006. Who would’ve known such a casual encounter at a seemingly insignificant place would lead to one of electronic music’s most dominant duos, ever? Not us. It’s that “perfect storm” of chance merging with destiny who was already hanging out with talent that makes Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano’s story so unique, fun and energizing. Even the great Axwell of former Swedish House Mafia said of the duo “If there were a Dutch version of Swedish House Mafia, it would be Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano.” That would be like Chris Brown getting praise from Michael Jackson. Or Lebron James receiving high praise from Michael Jordan (sorry Bron-Bron, we’re still a little hurt you left us).
Currently on tour, the Dutch duo will have only ONE stop in Miami, which of course is the one and only LIV Miami on Saturday, August 16th. Resident LIV Miami DJ, Mednas, will also be in the building. Tickets for the ladies are $40 while the gentlemen are $75, both of which can be purchased by CLICKING HERE. For VIP information, please contact LIV Miami VIP concierge David Gordon at 561-239-1200. This is a 21+ event and a dress code will be enforced. Doors open at 11pm. Party Responsibly.
