Boy George & Marc Vedo at Club Space Miami August 9th
Club Space Miami: Boy George. Everyone knows who that is, especially if you grew up in the 70’s and 80’s. If you were a kid during that time, you were probably very confused as to what exactly Boy George was. He was unique, no doubt, and remains that way to this day. That shouldn’t, however, take away from his natural talent for performing. The former lead of the pop band Culture Club (who’s big claim to fame is their song Karma Chameleon) is still going strong to this day, making the 53 year olds career longer than most new stars remain relevant in todays fast paced industries. Today Boy George has his own fashion line, “B-Rude” and DJ’s in various venues throughout the U.K., Europe and the United States.
Marc Vedo, on the other hand, is an up and coming DJ who tours like he’s Tiesto. This guy had 40 shows in the summer of 2013, then when that wasn’t enough, hit 16 cities in the U.S. in just a few weeks. He’s a hustler for sure. But we’ve got to say Marc’s biggest accomplishment (that we know of) is his residency at Amnesia in Ibiza, the house music capital of the world. Marc Vedo also launched his record label, VG Records, back in 2011 with none other than Boy George! Didn’t see that combination coming did you? Neither did we. But the two head the record label and frequently tour together – and we couldn’t be more anxious to see them in the Magic City.
On Saturday, August 9th Boy George & Marc Vedo will be headlining at The Terrace at Club Space Miami. Pre-midnight tickets are just $20 and pre-2am tickets are just $10 more, making this a no brainer if you’re ballin’ on a budget. Tickets can be purchased by CLICKING HERE.
