MMW 2014: 1969. A great year to be born. The age of disco was just one short year away. So what house music DJ was born in France in 1969 that, even at the age of 44, still rocks every venue he plays at? That would e Chrisophe Le Friant, better known as Bob Sinclar. The disco era Sinclar grew up in is very much reflected in his tracks and we are sure had a part in his self-described musical style of “Peace, love and house music”. But you won’t hear any complaints from us here at The Local Miami – disco was the prerequisite to the house music we love now.
With MMW 2014 fast approaching and the plethora of events that are out there to choose from, one of our jobs is to put in front of you, our readers, the most kick-ass events for MMW 2014! Which is why this event is in front of you. On Tuesday, March 25th from 5pm until 1am Bob Sinclar, along with a host of other talent, will be taking over The Delano Beach Club in South Beach. Diskolab, AEG Live, MixMag and Baoli have teamed up with one of South Beach’s hottest venues, The Delano Hotel, to bring you one of the hottest pool parties that Miami Music Week 2014 has to offer. Cash Cash, Erik Hagleton, Miss Nine, Stockholm Syndrome and Treasure Fingers are all slated to play, but there are three other DJ’s that we’re particularly excited about seeing; Andres Fresko, Daniele Tavella and Patrick Pizzorni.
‘Pre-7pm arrival time’ tickets are only $25 and ‘Anytime arrival’ tickets are only $35! To purchase your tickets, please CLICK HERE. To get a discounted rate on your tickets, use promo code “TheLocalMiami” at checkout!
