The Stage Miami

It’s no secret that Halloween has become as much of an adult event as it is a child’s. But that’s what is great about Halloween – there’s fun to be had for everyone. And, as you can imagine, Halloween is a big deal here in Miami. From 9pm to 5am on Saturday, October 26th The Stage Miami is having their Halloween Open House party with all the goodies you would expect at a Halloween Party, but with a little twist. The Stage Miami, located in Miami’s Design District just off the Julia Tuttle Causeway, is somewhat of a hidden gem in Miami. Known for celebrating art and culture as well as being a place of artistic expression and great drinks, The Stage Miami has a little something for everyone.

There will be both live music as well as DJ’s at Halloween Open House at The Stage Miami including DJ’s Tony Choy, Xplode and Gor-D with live music from DD Luxz and Problem Kids. The Stage Miami will also be offering $5 Heineken. And what would a Halloween party be without a “Best Costume Contest”?!

The twist to their Halloween Open House event is that this event will be benefiting the Kiwanis Club of Little Havana. Kiwanis Club of Little Havana is a program, or group of programs rather, that is designed to help undeserved children and their families in our community. With sports programs ranging from a basketball league to a Sports Summer Camp and educational programs like their Family Literacy Program and SAT Tutoring Program, the Kiwanis Club of Little Havana has helped thousands of kids and their families develop the basic skills needed in todays ever changing society. The Kiwanis Club of Little Havana is also behind the annual Carnival Miami festival. The Kiwanis Club of Little Havana was founded in 1975 and received their 501 (c) (3) organization status in 1987.
