Relatively new to the house music scene, Chris Lake first gained notoriety for his underground remixes of top house and dance music hits in the early 2000’s. Lake had his first big hit released in 2005, “Changes,” which topped Billboard’s Hot Dance Airplay chart at #10, which is still a favorite of house music fans everywhere. The sky has been the limit ever since. As a DJ he has had several tracks that have topped global dance music charts including “Carry Me Away” and “Only One.”
Touring all over the world – From Canada and Brazil to London and Los Angeles – Lake has spread his love for house music. Along with being a top global touring DJ, Chris also runs two record labels, Rising Music and Rising Trax, which is home to up and coming DJ’s such as Jim Breese, Tommy Trash and Nelski. As 2012 winds down, Chris Lake is venturing back to Miami on Saturday, October 13th and will be performing at LIV.
