A relatively young wine, this red is fresh and pure, displaying lovely fragrances of plum and cherry on the nose. The 16 month barrel aging process this wine endures is very evident on the mouth with vanilla, cedar and spice accompanying the plum and cherry notes. Aftertaste is mostly toasted bread with some spice. Goes well with pork and Italian dishes.
