This Merlot, as well as most other merlots, is a medium bodied wine. It’s bouquet has nice hints of black cherry & currant. On the palate it’s very well balanced with plum & cherry being the dominant characteristics. This wine is aged in French Oak barrels, so the finish has beautiful tones of French Vanilla, thus making this wine nice & smooth. For the price, this wine is an excellent buy & is very versatile as far as what it can be served with.
